Primary Objective of PositionReporting directly to the ADC (Diabetes Care) Controller in France, the key responsibilities of the FP&A Manager include, but are not limited, to the following:Lead the France LBE (Last Best Estimate) process, ensuring high standards of forecast accuracy and alignment with CDR process (Commercial Demand Review) by business partnering with all relevant stakeholdersManagement of one direct personCoordinate and manage forecast accuracy goals and targets throughout France mainland and overseasLead all FP&A activities for France to include maintenance of LBE submissions, management of monthly closing and daily sales reportingIssue strategic recommendations to facilitate and optimize commercial positions (channels profitability, products/partnerships, new product implementation, end of life)Ensure that internal controls are applied and properly implemented in compliance with Abbott’s internal standards, policies and procedures in place 2. Main AccountabilitiesEnsuring models and business analysis are completed accurately and on timeContribute to achievement of forecast accuracy KPIs by working closely with Demand manager and commercial excellenceFinancial planning and actuals analysis for France mainland and overseas across channelsEnsuring that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirementsCLOSINGManage month-end close (monthly, quarterly, yearly) in interaction with Financial teams and Commercial stakeholders, particularly on gross to net sales and expensesPrepare and validate the accruals and commissions related to Sales (Gross to Net, Government Rebates, Commissions to Pharmacy Chains)Prepare and validate in coordination with relevant Support services the accruals for SG&A (Opex) spend, Freight & DistributionPrepare and validate the accruals related to bonus/tax in support of the ControllerReview and validate the Journal Entries for B2B/B2C Pharmacy Sales in coordination with financial teamEnsure requested bookings are properly recorded and match expectationsREPORTING/FORECASTINGPerform gap analysis between actuals and forecasts by P&L line, Balance Sheet line; Identify risks/opportunities and develop mitigation plans to deliver expected perform for sales & margin within the forecast accuracy targetPrepare and validate with the ADC Controller France the reporting package on actuals vs. forecasts for P&L & Balance Sheet, with a focus on sales, gross margin fall through and accounts receivable/DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)Identify the root cause for variance, develop analysis plan and control to reduce observed gaps vs. forecasts and reach targetsPrepare presentation decks for highlights, S&OP, Commercial Demand Review (finance) and LBE Prepare forecasting package in dedicated systems (DODECA) and reporting templates for EMEA/GlobalWork on Risks/Opportunities alternative scenario to assess financial impacts based on probabilityWork on resubmission / recycles as per timelines & guidance communicatedBUDGETARY CONTROLS AND EFFICIENCYTrack forecast accuracy and identify opportunities for growth in sales / marginReview specific spend and propose a yearly action plan to reduce costs on identified buckets with the support of Procurement (T&E, internal meetings, prints, consulting)Optimize cash flow management by working on Ageing Customer Balance, Doubtful Customers, DPO (Days Payable Outstanding) & DSORECOMMENDATION ON STRATEGYSupport profitability analysis to design optimized commercial offers (Hospitals, Pharmacies)Produce recommendation to orient strategy towards the most profitable/high potential business areasINTERNAL CONTROLSSupport and relay best practices for internal controls via training and ad hoc checks, especially on Purchasing, No Charge Products, SamplesPROFILEMaster’s Degree or above from a Business School with a major in Finance / Cost Control / Audit10 to 15-year work experience in Finance in mutinational companiesHigh level of numeracyOrganization and delegation skills to manage workload across multiple stakeholdersInterpersonal skills to communicate and present cross-functionallyAbility to handle pressured timelines calmlyPatience and understanding to coach and develop direct reportEnglish : Good levelRole based in Rungis The base pay for this position is N/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
