We’re always looking towards the future, anticipating changes in medical science and technology.The OpportunityThis position works at Ankara location in the In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.What You’ll DoAchieve sales quota per plan by servicing the current customer base, increasing the sales volume to that base and establishing new accounts. Complexity is moderate (territory and/or assigned accounts, products/services, sales or account management process)Has moderate authority to make sales commitments for assigned efforts and is accountable for results within established guidelines. May provide input to division-wide sales standards, practices, procedures and policies and/or tenders.Implement comprehensive sales plans to ensure increased market penetration and establishing of new accountsDevelops and maintains a good understanding of EP productsMust share expertise about product specifications with the health care professionals during the procedural casesPrepares reports and drafts initial conclusions/basic analysis; and performs required administrative sales duties, e.g., filing expense account reports, scheduling appointments, and making travel plansMaintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies in respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, expense reporting and Quality guidelines.Follow and share the best practices guidelines before and after the sales call.Develops knowledge/awareness of competition productsAct as Company ambassador at all times i.e. represents the Company in a professional manner and with highest integrity while interacting with customers and assigned institutions, physicians and technicians, customer purchasing and administration.Proactively plan weekly travel schedule and communicate this through the appropriate channels in country/divisionApply the company Account Profiling system and ensure the following basic information is incorporated in the accounts: people, their preferred behavioral styles, volume of product, competitors, local politics, decision structure including decision makers, needs, brief history, proposed minimum call frequencyIs responsible to comply with the H.C.P. guidelinesAfter sales operations, have responsibilities EP procedural case coverageRequired QualificationsBasic understanding of (Cardiac Electrophysiology-EP) product lines and acquiring fair understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs of assigned accountsBachelor’s Degree or experience equivalent1-3 years of successful sales experience within medical device industryExcellent personal computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.Residing in Ankara.Preferred QualificationsMust have abilities to solve clinical problemsWell organized and accustomed to tight deadlinesExperience to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skillsCustomer- and results- oriented, self-starterApply NowConnect with us at www.abbott.com, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Abbott and on Twitter @AbbottNews and @AbbottGlobal.
