Here, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.Job Description:Inside Sales Representative, GSC Costa RicaCollaborate with innovative 3Mers around the worldAs an Inside Sales Rep you will be responsible for developing and growing relationships with end users representing the Transportation and Energy Business Group’s product portfolio in a B2B sales environment through telephone sales, handling customer questions (inbound calls) and up selling and cross selling strategically aligned products. Utilizing detailed product knowledge to provide technical assistance to customers and assist them in identifying products to meet their needs. Meet monthly set goals through sales forecast, customer interactions, and data gathering.The impact you will make in this roleGrow 3M TEBG business through telephone salesAttain set outbound call activity in conjunction with expectations of the Inside Sales organizationResponds to inbound customer inquiries and warm leads to provide solutions to end userDevelop strategic approaches with the business area to attain sales quota, sales quality and sales productivity metricsEstablishes and maintains customer contacts and relationships. Understands the customer’s business and applications to influence key decision makersManage and analyze customer data, perform market and competition analysisProficient in identifying market trends and account needs reacting to market activity and reach favorable sales goalsMaintain and update a working Sales Plan with strategies and tactics to achieve annual sales forecastDrive campaigns created from division Marketers to grow new product sales and overall territory growthIntroduces new products, and communicates promotions and value to relevant customers and prospectsDemonstrates a proficient level of procedural and technical product knowledge to identify products that meet customer needsWorks with Industrial Distribution when appropriate to grow collective account baseShares best practices with the team to promote a positive team environmentYour skills and ExpertisePossess a bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of one (1) year of combined experience in sales and/or customer service is requiredAdvanced English, written and spokenAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:CRM experience/pipeline managementStrong active listening skillsExperience in selling through distribution channelsExperience in selling into end user companiesThree (3) years Inside sales or field sales experience highly desirableExcellent oral and written communication, including presentation skillsAbility to work in a high volume, rapidly changing environmentAbility to work in a team environment and willing to collaborate and compromise, including team leadershipStrong organizational skills with the ability to stay focused on tasksGood interpersonal skillsWork Location: This position follows an on-site working model, meaning the employee is required to perform their duties at the GSC Costa Rica, located at Centro Corporativo El Cafetal, Belén, Heredia. However, depending on the company´s needs and operational capabilities, a flexible on-site schedule may be permitted. At present, employees are expected to work from the office one day per week, to foster collaboration and maintain team connection. Nevertheless, the required on-site presence may be adjusted in the future and could increase to several days per week, depending on business needs and operational priorities.
