The IT Project Manager leads IT projects that support business goals. This role works with different teams to plan, manage, and deliver projects on time and within scope. The person in this role is the main contact for business partners and helps make sure all work stays aligned with priorities and delivers results.Responsibilities:Lead and manage IT projects from start to finishWork with different teams to plan and complete project workSet timelines, track progress, and adjust plans as neededMake sure projects stay aligned with business goals and prioritiesIdentify risks and create plans to reduce or avoid themSupport release planning and ensure updates are tracked in tools like JiraLead meetings, provide status updates, and keep all teams informedHelp solve business and technical problems by working with the right teamsGuide and support junior team membersBuild strong relationships and keep communication clear across teamsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or related experience5+ years of experience in project or program managementExperience working on IT or Information Protection projects preferredAgile certification preferred (Kanban is a plus)Strong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple projects at the same timeStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAble to work independently and take initiativeComfortable working with different teams and building relationshipsSkilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About The Cigna Group Doing something meaningful starts with a simple decision, a commitment to changing lives.
