Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.Responsibilities:GENERAL PURPOSE:In an outpatient setting, remains accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system. Works as a team member and assists other staff members with implementing patient care. Assumes responsibility of care for assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD. Participates in the plan of care, implements appropriate nursing interventions, and contributes to patient/family education through collection of data, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation and excellent communication.M-F days only.  No holidays, weekends, or callThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Pulmonary Clinic provides clinical support to providers and assists in the delivery of high-quality patient care for individuals with respiratory and pulmonary conditions. The LPN responsibilities include rooming patients and obtaining accurate vital signs including oxygen saturation and respiratory rate. Collect patient history, including respiratory symptoms, medications, allergies, and smoking history. Assist with pulmonary testing preparation (e.g., spirometry, oxygen walk tests, nebulizer treatments). Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered by the provider and within LPN scope of practice.
