Full availability required, including nights and weekends.Patient Access Representative II, Job Responsibilities:Registers patients accurately and efficientlyUtilization of multiple systems and interfacesCross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areasMaintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encountersContributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHOMaintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team membersAble to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent formsMaintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelinesExperience Requirements:1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required1-2 years Healthcare experience Preferred1-2 years Insurance experience PreferredEducation & Credential Requirements: High School Diploma Required Primary Location:South - Main Building
