It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence.Description of WorkThis is a part-time temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This position will provide support to the Quality and Evaluation sections of The Division of Health Benefits (DHB). The Survey Analyst will be responsible for ensuing consistent, high-quality survey design and support across the organization.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesJob Specific Responsibilities:Develop effective surveys, reporting templates, and other data collection processesProvide meaningful qualitative and quantitative analysis of the impact of quality metrics for performance improvementPerform comprehensive process monitoring to oversee and adjust programs and policiesDevelop high-quality, public-facing, internal presentations, reports, and dashboards Serve as a liaison to quality management, population health, and other DHB units related to the monitoring and evaluation of quality measures and performance improvementHourly Rate: $26.00 to $32.00(Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application)Candidates meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification.  The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed within this vacancy announcement will be used only as management preferences and will be used to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants.   Management prefers applicants with the following:Strong understanding of program monitoring and evaluationAbility to interpret complex data, data sets and other information and to identify and communicate trends and probable outcomesDemonstrated experience developing and implementing user-friendly and comprehensive dashboards and/or reportsKnowledge of national and standard health and quality of care measures (NCQA-HEDIS and others) Ability to effectively identify and present trends to senior leadership.Demonstrated skill in creating and maintaining collaborative working relationships with a variety of stakeholders with different areas of expertise.Resumes may be attached as a supplement to the application but are not a substitute for a complete application.This posting will close at 11:59 pm the night before the posting end date.About the NC Division of Health Benefits:The Division of Health Benefits (DHB) within NCDHHS is committed to advancing innovative solutions that improve health, promote well-being and foster independence for all North Carolinians.
