We also connect local communities with the grants and funding they need to attract new business and ensure future prosperity.Description of WorkKnowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesThe posting will close and stop accepting applications at 11:59 pm on the night prior to the closing date posted above.***Recruitment range is $ 67,122 - $ 117,465***This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits, including health insurance, as well as retirement.  The Division of Workforce Solutions (DWS) is seeking a strategic and experienced Veterans Employment Services Director to lead the administration and oversight of the Jobs for Veterans State Grants (JVSG) program. This leadership position is responsible for the functional and technical management of veteran-focused employment and training initiatives across North Carolina, ensuring alignment with federal requirements and state-level priorities.The Veterans Employment Services Director will serve as the primary liaison with NCWorks Career Center staff and other stakeholders, ensuring veterans receive high-quality, priority employment services.
