The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative assistance and general office support to Rehabilitation Counselors and other personnel in the Statesville satellite office providing vocational rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities. Job responsibilities include the following: • Greeting visitors and callers courteously and professionally, to include contact with staff, vendors, other departments and the public • Using a multi-line phone system to answer and route calls to appropriate staff members• Preparing documents, maintaining spreadsheets, inputting data, and completing billing processes for assigned staff• Receiving applications from clients, requesting and obtaining medical/treatment records, scheduling appointments, setting up case files, filing, and creating written correspondence• Documenting client information, interactions, and services into the case management system throughout the rehabilitation process• Utilizing office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet office needsKnowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesSalary Grade Range $39,244 - $68,679 Recruitment Range $39,244 - $49,000**Position is eligible for a hybrid-teleworking schedule to include weekly onsite work hours**Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required.
