Initial Posting Date: 06/18/2026Application Deadline:07/02/2026Agency:Department of Fish and WildlifeSalary Range:$4,650 - $6,834Position Type:EmployeePosition Title:Inland Fish Science Program Office Manager (Office Manager 2)Job Description:Help the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife fulfill its mission: To protect and enhance Oregon's fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations.We are hiring for one full-time, permanent position located in Corvallis, Oregon.What you will do:In this role, you will provide confidential administrative support to the Inland Fish Science Program and managers within that program.  Some of the major duties will include, but are not limited to:Assist with all aspects of Program personnel actions needed for hiring all staff. Assist in preparation and monitoring of administrative budgets. Assist contract managers within the program with preparation and submittal of budgets, tracking budget balances and spending, reconciling problems, and submitting journal vouchers to accounting as needed. Prepare and submit invoices for payment of contracts with Oregon State University for hatchery science and genetic services. Manage facilities leases and contracts.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
