Provide strategic insight and analytical support to inform long-range strategic pricing, margin, and revenue management initiatives. Support roll-out of new initiatives by developing implementation plans and tracking compliance. Provide training on revenue management tools, strategy, and philosophy to cross-functional stakeholders, as necessary.This position is remote which means the work can be completed from anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform advanced analysis of market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, and margins in order to develop, monitor and respond to pricing activity. Identify opportunities and recommend process improvement based on analysis. Play a consulting role and tell the story behind the data.Provide analytical support for head of RevMan Strategy and Managers of Revenue Management Initiatives to inform development of special revenue management initiatives. Support roll-out of new initiatives by developing implementation plans and tracking compliance.Provide analytical support to head of RevMan Strategy and Manager of RevMan Process Improvement to inform process improvement strategies. Help with the design and development of business processes and translation into IT solutions.Participate in the development of sophisticated revenue management tools. Liaise with IT in the development of tools and act as super user of the technology. Provide training for the revenue management, category management and other teams which may use the tool, and work closely with the field to deploy.Create and maintain databases and files to support pricing, revenue management and overall strategy.SUPERVISIONNoneRELATIONSHIPSWork closely with broader RevMan Strategy team, Merchandising, Finance and other functions as appropriate. QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Training: Bachelor’s degree in a business or quantitative field required (Statistics, Finance, Econometrics, CS, Mathematics, OR, Engineering, etc.); MBA or MS preferred.Related Experience: 4 years of combined experience in the one or more of the following areas: Pricing & Revenue Management, Financial Analysis, Analytics (Sales, Marketing, Strategy, or Merchandising), Statistical Analysis & Modeling, Systems, Decision Science, Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), and Management Consulting.Skills:Strong quantitative and analytical skillsStrong business acumen and critical-thinking skillsDemonstrated ability to educate and influence cross-functional stakeholdersBe able to tell a story and play a consulting roleExperience with advanced data management and analytics packages preferred e.g. SigmaTableauSQL and/or PythonThis role is also eligible for Benefits for this role include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
