SLU, which also has a campus in Madrid, Spain, is recognized for world-class academics, life-changing research, compassionate health care, and a strong commitment to faith and service.Position SummaryThe Supervisor of Campus Transportation and Parking Operations is responsible for the daily management, coordination, and optimization of the university’s parking and transportation systems. This role oversees enforcement staff, parking facilities, shuttle operations, and transportation partnerships, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused services for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Supervisor also leverages operational metrics and data to drive continuous improvement in logistics, utilization, and service delivery.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily operations of campus parking and transportation services, including enforcement staff, parking facilities, and shuttle operationsHire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff; ensure adequate coverage and high customer service standardsEnforce parking regulations consistently and professionally; resolve escalated customer issuesOversee parking facilities (lots and garages), including inspections, maintenance coordination, signage, access systems, and safety compliancePartner with facilities and vendors to address repairs, striping, lighting, snow removal, and infrastructure needsManage campus shuttle operations, including routing, schedules, and service reliabilityCoordinate and monitor third-party transportation providers to ensure contract compliance and service qualityAnalyze operational data (occupancy, ridership, citations, staffing, revenue) to improve efficiency, utilization, and resource allocationDevelop reports and recommend operational improvements and policy updatesPlan and coordinate parking and transportation logistics for campus events, including demand forecasting and traffic flowMaintain fleet and asset records; coordinate preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operationsCollaborate with campus partners on transportation planning, policy development, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport implementation and optimization of parking and transportation systems and technologyPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong leadership skillsAbility to multitask and be a self-starterCustomer service orientedAbility to work overtime as requiredAbility to verbally, clearly, and distinctly communicate information effectivelyAbility to respond to questions in a tactful and professional mannerVerbal and written communication skillsInterpersonal/human relations skillsMust abide by all state and local driving laws.Minimum QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related fieldTwo or more years of related work experienceMust possess a valid class E Missouri drivers’ license or state equivalentAbility to meet university requirements for vehicle operation and background screening including drug screeningBenefits at Saint Louis University include:Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) for you and your familyGenerous vacation, sick leave, and paid holidaysRetirement savings plan with employer contributionsTuition remission/assistance for employees and eligible dependentsWellness programs and employee assistance resourcesFunctionParking and Card ServicesScheduled Weekly Hours:40Saint Louis University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
