A reasonable estimate of the current range is:  Grade: Professional 303Pay Range: $21.77 - $32.64Job DescriptionThe subject matter expert (SME) resource manager oversees the recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, and management of SMEs. The resource manager will apply proven skills to analyze, problem solve, identify, communicate, organize, and manage SME participation in projects related to program development. This individual collaborates with external and internal stakeholders to effectively and professionally manage SME resources. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:1. Recruits external and internal SMEs for development projects according to established qualification specifications2. Manages SME participation in development projects3. Maintains efficient communication with SME and stakeholders4. Acts as liaison between university staff and SMEs5. Processes and manages all required WGU documents for contracted SMEs6. Confirms and processes compensation for SME participation in development projects7. Processes and manages feedback for SME participation in development projects8. Manages logistics for SME participation in development projects as needed9. Fulfills other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skill and Abilities• Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems. Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed.
