Assembler

Job Description:The Assembler is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components and wiring assemblies, as well as supporting production related tasks.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform hand soldering of electronic components, wires, and circuit boardsAssemble small parts and subassemblies using hand tools and fixtures Follow work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings Work with Quality Inspectors to ensure quality and complianceIdentify and rework defective solder joints or assemblies Pick parts and subassembly kits as neededRecord production data and track completed work Assist with packaging in Data Center repack as neededMaintain a clean and organized work area Meet daily production targets Minimum Required Skills and EducationHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious soldering/assembly experienceAbility to read schematics and follow assembly instructionsMust be able to effectively read, write and communicate in EnglishStrong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterityPhysical Requirements and Working ConditionsAbility to sit for extended periods of time during shiftExcellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills Ability to work with small components Exposure to soldering fumes with ventilation systemAbility to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.Compensation Information:$22 per hourITW is an equal opportunity employer.
