Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon  is seeking successful candidate to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the evaluation/rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) RF electronics, electronics assemblies, high-power distribution assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies.What You Will DoEvaluate failed electrical assemblies, products, components, and software – using test and measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level – with strong emphasis on evaluation hands-on experience.Electronic troubleshooting through technical experience and knowledge – NOT through the use of pre-written step-by-step proceduresStrong sense of ownership and self-driven to meet or exceed deliverable expectationsWork with senior Electrical Engineering, test technicians, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processesRead and fully interpret Assembly Drawings and SchematicsMaintain control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes – ensuring full compliance to established ESD processesSupport the culture of Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) ProjectsThis will be a 1st shift, onsite role.Qualifications You Must HaveHS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.Electrical/electronic evaluation/trouble-shooting experienceExperience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF equipment, etc.Qualifications We PreferElectrical Test Technical School Degree4+ Electrical Test Technician experienceRadio Frequency, troubleshooting, experienceDOD contract experienceWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
