Translates initiatives into coordinated, executable workplans and ensures disciplined delivery, progress tracking, and benefit realization across a subset of the portfolio.Partners with finance, operational leaders, and cross-functional project teams to manage day-to-day execution, resolve delivery risks, and support transition from approval through implementation and sustained results. As the portfolio shifts from project to project, will apply focused leadership across delivery governance, benefit realization, change adoption, or integration, aligning efforts to the needs of each initiative and the system governance framework established by senior leadership.Job Description:EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree required in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, engineering, public health, or related field.TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 6 years recent relevant experienceSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Progressive experience in healthcare operations, finance, strategy execution, performance improvement, or portfolio delivery.Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives or managing complex projects with measurable outcomes.Demonstrated experience supporting margin improvement, value creation, or operational transformation efforts.Strong ability to manage initiative execution, track progress, and drive accountability.Experience translating strategy and business cases into actionable delivery plans.Working knowledge of healthcare financial drivers, savings tracking, and benefit realization concepts.Ability to analyze performance data and identify execution risks or gaps.Strong facilitation and coordination skills across diverse stakeholder groups.Clear, concise communication skills with the ability to surface issues and propose solutions.Ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams (direct and matrixed) with clear expectations, role clarity, and accountability for outcomes. Builds high-performing teams by fostering engagement, alignment, and ownership of results.Strong coaching and development capability, including coaching leaders and workstream owners on delivery rigor, stakeholder management, and change adoption. Emeryville Pay Range is $202,030.40 to $323,232.00 / annual salary.The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
