Job DescriptionJoin our Animal Health Technology Solutions team as the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Sr. Specialist! You will own compliance programs, partner with site leadership, and drive measurable improvements across our company’s Animal Health Technology Solutions facilities in Dallas, Texas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana!  The selected candidate must be open to 30% travel regularly between Dallas, TX and Baton Rouge, LA based on site needs.Responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following main tasks:Serve as the primary EHS point of contact for both sites, partnering closely with site leadership, line managers, and cross-functional teamsServe as liaison with local and state agencies (Texas and Louisiana), ensuring strong regulatory relationships and timely responsesPlan, develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure continuous compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, company standards, and industry best practicesOwn environmental compliance: maintain permits, registrations, and plans; manage renewals and updates; meet reporting deadlinesSupport incident investigations and root cause analysis; implement corrective and preventive actions and verify effectivenessTrack metrics and trends; communicate learnings and drive behavior-based safety improvements across sitesDevelop and deliver targeted EHS training; maintain training matrices and recordsCommunicate complex technical and regulatory information clearly to both senior leaders and shop-floor employeesChampion continuous improvement through best-practice deployment across Dallas and Baton RougeEducation:Bachelor’s degree in biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, Physical Science or related technical discipline required.Minimum Requirements:5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, R&D, laboratory, or technical operations environments.Demonstrated experience working with U.S. EHS regulatory agencies and corporate support functions.Proven competency with one or more of the following programs: RCRA hazardous waste, Clean Air Act (Title V/NSR), OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM), and high-risk work controls (elevated work, confined space, hot work, lockout/tagout, etc.).Experience developing and delivering EHS training and conducting incident investigations with root cause analysis.Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.Preferred Experience and Skills: Working knowledge of Texas (TCEQ) and Louisiana (LDEQ) environmental regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and reporting requirements.Proficiency with EHS management systems and corrective action tracking.Proficiency in safety programs, including:Contractor management, permits-to-work, and safe work planning.Emergency preparedness and response planning, drills, and coordination with local responders; severe weather readiness.Experience with MOC, PSSER, and mechanical integrity.Ergonomics and industrial hygiene familiarity and integration into safety programs.Collaborative leadership style; ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability.Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification, Project Engineer Certification (PE) and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist certification (CIH) preferredRequired Skills: EHS Compliance, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Regulations, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Management, Hazard Communication (HazCom), Hazardous Material Safety, Hazardous Materials Response, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management, HSE (Inactive), HSE Audits, Safety Regulatory CompliancePreferred Skills: Current Employees apply HERECurrent Contingent Workers apply HEREUS and Puerto Rico Residents Only:Our company is committed to inclusion, ensuring that candidates can engage in a hiring process that exhibits their true capabilities.
