The site can accommodate up to 3,000 people and is operational since Q4 2024. Amgen India will initially build and accelerate new technology solutions and digital capabilities at scale that will enhance efficiency across the enterprise The site will offer roles that strengthen key areas of Amgen’s business, including AI, data science, life science and other additional global capabilities over time.ABOUT THE ROLERole Description:The Sr Associate Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise CRM and commercial technology solutions built on Salesforce and Conga CLM/CPQ platforms. This role is responsible for developing scalable application components, configuring platform capabilities, supporting integrations, and delivering high-quality solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.The ideal candidate possesses strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on Salesforce platform development experience, and understanding of enterprise business processes related to contract lifecycle management and configure-price-quote capabilities. The role requires active participation throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.This position requires independent execution of medium-complexity technical workstreams, collaboration across global teams, and contribution to engineering best practices that improve platform scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.You will be part of a team focused on Global CRM capabilities. Amgen leverages fully integrated, best-in-class technologies with Salesforce.com serving as the core platform architecture and business capability enablers such as Conga CLM and CPQ.Roles & Responsibilities:Design, develop, enhance, and support scalable solutions on Salesforce and Conga CLM/CPQ platformsDevelop custom applications and platform capabilities using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flows, validation rules, and Salesforce automation technologiesConfigure and enhance Conga CLM and CPQ capabilities including templates, workflows, approvals, product configurations, pricing rules, and contract lifecycle processesContribute to technical design decisions and solution implementation approaches aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business requirementsCollaborate with product managers, architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutionsBuild and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using REST APIs, middleware technologies, and integration best practicesDevelop reusable components and optimize application performance, scalability, security, and maintainabilityParticipate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, development best practices, and continuous improvement initiativesExecute and support deployment and release management activities across development, testing, and production environmentsSupport CI/CD processes, source control management, environment coordination, and release readiness activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve application defects, integration issues, and production incidents while providing timely root cause analysis and remediationCreate and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, configuration details, integration specifications, and deployment proceduresParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, retrospectives, and release planningMonitor platform health and proactively identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and operational improvementsProvide technical guidance to junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the engineering organization Basic Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree / Master's Degree and 5-8 years relevant software engineering experience2+ years of experience in Salesforce development or enterprise application developmentHands-on experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce platform developmentExperience working with CRM and enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar technologiesUnderstanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps conceptsExperience developing integrations using REST APIs, middleware technologies, or enterprise integration patternsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills with the abil
