Job LocationMEXICO CITY GENERAL OFFICEJob DescriptionTitle of the Position: External Supply Manager – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing• Position Type: Managerial• Location: Mexico City (Flexible location within Mexico, with frequent travel to supplier sites)• Work Hours: Standard hours with a hybrid work model; office days and supplier visits• Profile:Strong technical background in manufacturing operations with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Should have knowledge in equipment maintenance, capacity planning, operational metrics, and supplier management. Then this is the perfect job for you.• Job Overview:This managerial role focuses on supporting and leading manufacturing operations with external suppliers in Mexico. You will oversee key areas such as capacity optimization, equipment maintenance, and loss reduction, ensuring timely and quality delivery of orders. The position requires frequent interaction and travel to supplier sites in Mexico City to strengthen relationships, understand their supply chains, and identify improvement opportunities. You will also coordinate cross-functional projects related to materials, audits, and payment governance to maintain operational continuity and compliance.Job Qualifications• Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operational engagement with external suppliers to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of orders according to planning parametersIdentify and analyze operational inefficiencies, losses, and equipment performance issues; propose and lead continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with suppliers on technical discussions about manufacturing metrics such as throughput, reliability, and capacity enhancementsCoordinate and lead cross-functional projects including material changes, supplier audits, and quality action plansMaintain governance over supplier payment processes ensuring timely and accurate execution with required documentationSupport quality and stewardship teams during supplier audits and follow-up on corrective action plans• Hard Skills:Experience in manufacturing operationsTechnical knowledge of equipment maintenance, capacity planning, and operational metricsSupplier and contract manufacturing managementProject management skills for cross-functional initiativesFamiliarity with quality audit processes and payment governance• Soft Skills:Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teamsStrong organizational skills to manage meeting minutes, documentation, and timelinesProactive problem-solving mindset to identify and drive operational improvementsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment• Nice to Have Skills:Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated industriesExperience with ERP or manufacturing execution systems• Important Note for Candidates:Before submitting your application, we encourage you to review our Hiring Process and Assessment Information.
