Associate Analyst, Investment Data Management

Job Description:The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and responsive team player who is able to multi-task and has excellent analytic skills. Our work is highly collaborative and involves close coordination and excellent communication with our clients, market data vendors and key business and technology partners across Fidelity.The Associate Analyst, Investment Data Management will perform critical functions to support daily operations. Including investment entity set-up for the respective trading desks, perform detailed data analysis, and identify and resolve data issues. Quality, accuracy, and timeliness are critical to the success of this function. Perform detailed data analysis to support data management operationsRespond to business questions on the timeliness and quality of the data received and managedPerform database queries to analyze and validate dataTroubleshoot production related issues  and engage with our Technology and Business partners to resolve when neededParticipate in Operations projects/initiatives involving multiple business partners and provide subject matter expertiseThe Expertise & Skills You Bring Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related field1-3 years’ experience working in an Operations, Business Analysis, and/or Data Analyst roleFinancial Services Industry experience working with reference data preferredExperience working with Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, IDC, and industry ratings vendors preferredExperience working with reporting tools such as SQL and OBIEE preferred Data analytics, data mining, reporting, operations research and data manipulation experience preferredAble to interact with vendors, clients and end users of the dataExhibited skills in problem identification and resolutionStrong analysis skills resulting in the ability to respond to customer inquiries with accuracyProven ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlinesGood organizational and project management skills to navigate through high volume setting with tight deadlinesDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff, management and other business partnersNote: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
