AI Product Manager

Slalom is seeking talented consultants to support organizations through modernization of their product operating models and ways of working including accelerating product results by enabling the PDLC with AI. As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in our Modern Product Organization capability, you'll contribute to transformations that reshape how organizations build, deliver, and evolve products and services in the modern era, working in one or more of these areas: Architecting Modern Product Operating Models – Help design value-centric organizational structures, governance frameworks, and operating rhythms that enable cross-functional teams to deliver customer value at scale and with speed, including Product Operating Models for AI Products, Data Products, and Platforms as ProductIntegrating AI into Product Strategy and Product Management – Help clients integrate AI throughout the product delivery lifecycle, from idea or need to realized value, accelerating learning and results through experimentation and validationOrganizing Around Value Streams – Support the design and execution of transformation strategies that reshape how organizations structure, fund and operate their product portfoliosImplementing Lean Portfolio Management – Assist in establishing systems that connect strategy to execution through value stream funding, portfolio governance, and metrics that optimize investment decisions and value deliveryEnabling Enterprise Agility – Support organizations in adopting scaled agile frameworks and practices that optimize flow, minimize dependencies, and foster continuous improvement and outcome-focused delivery What You’ll Do In this role, you will support client engagements across the transformation lifecycle. Responsibilities may include activities such as: Assess Maturity of Product Organizations - Perform organizational assessments, analyze current state processes and structures, gather stakeholder input through interviews and surveys, and synthesize findings into actionable insightsInfuseAIinto the Product Lifecycle –Identify and enableAI tools and capabilities,assistin evaluating AI solutions for product workflows, support pilot programs, and help document AI best practicesDeveloping frameworks and deliverables - Create documentation including process maps, organizational charts, role definitions, playbooks, training materials, and presentation decks that support transformation initiativesFacilitating workshops and training - Lead team-level workshops, deliver training sessions on agile practices and product management techniques,facilitate retrospectives and planning sessions, and support change adoption activitiesImplementing transformation initiatives –Identify value streams and shape cross-functional teams, help establish cadences and practices, optimize tools and systems, and guide teams through adoption of new ways of workingTracking progress and outcomes - Collect and analyze metrics, create dashboards and reports,monitoradoption and performance indicators, and identify areas for improvementContributing to team success - Collaborate with engagement teams, share knowledge and lessons learned, support proposal development, and continuously develop your own skills and expertise What You’ll Bring Experiences & Expertise: 5+ years in product management, agile coaching, scrum master, or related roles with at least 1 year in consulting or client-facing positions Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban,SAFe) and product management practicesFamiliarity with AI tools and their application in product development workflowsWorking knowledge of product operating models, value stream management, or lean portfolio management conceptsExperience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or team ceremoniesDemonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Skills & Capabilities: Analytical thinking: Ability to break down complex problems,identifypatterns, and develop structured approaches to solutionsAdaptability: Comfort with ambiguity and ability to shift prioriti
