We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Recovery 1, a Waste Connections company, in Tacoma, WA. Delivering on our commitments builds trust with our employees and customers and creates a dependable and rewarding workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end close proceduresPost payments, maintain customer accounts, and process adjustments in the ERP systemManage daily cash applications and cash management tasksMaintain accurate accounts receivable agingProcess customer refundsManage pricing updates and contract rate maintenanceGenerate daily reports, monthly invoices, and mid-month statementsRespond to customer inquiries related to accounts receivable promptly and professionallyProcess and review customer credit applicationsMaintain organized and accurate AR documentation and filing systemsSupport additional tasks as needed by the Corporate Accounts Receivable teamQualifications & Experience2+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience preferredExperience with A/R and general ledger integrated systems is a plusStrong understanding of basic accounting principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesSelf-motivated with a close attention to detailCustomer service experience is highly valuedFor safety reasons, we kindly ask that applicants not visit the office to check on the status of their application, as this is an active work site with heavy commercial traffic.
