You’ll shadow experienced supervisors, assist with route planning, and help manage driver performance—all while learning how to keep a fleet running efficiently in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll GainReal-world experience in fleet and personnel managementExposure to logistics and service operations in the waste industryMentorship from experienced supervisors and operations managersOpportunity to contribute to sustainability and community impactResponsibilitiesAssist in daily route planning and driver assignmentsMonitor driver performance and support safety complianceParticipate in ride-alongs to observe field operationsSupport communication between drivers, dispatch, and customer serviceHelp resolve service issues and customer complaintsContribute to operational reports and performance metricsCollaborate on initiatives to improve route efficiency and driver satisfactionEngage in rotational assignments across departments to broaden organizational understandingQualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fieldStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, field-based environmentValid driver’s license requiredWaste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
