And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionJob Purpose:Lead & drives functional excellence in engineering solution and provide knowledge base, services and technical understanding for the “Hardware Engineering” applications following the industry standards and its regulatory requirements.Manage all aspect of project life cycle from pre-sale proposal support and Engineering support as per the scope.You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager.Can work independent and handle technical tasks and activity on HW and any 3rd party interfaces as applicable in the projects.This may include travel for short or long-term work assignments within India or overseas for customer meetings, project training and site support.Organize and schedule job tasks with your team.Provide leadership to the assigned team and Improve Productivity.Manage team regarding people development and issue resolutionManage Global partner including the regional solution teams and Global Programme ManagersYour Responsibilities:Deliver and build the assigned projects on time with good quality/ cost effectiveness and customer satisfactionTake on challenging tasks and be a solution provider to internal and external partners & industry team on solutionsKeep improving self-engineering capabilities and exchange best practice with other team members to improve team's capabilitiesLead technical implementation in whole life-cycle of project deliveryCollaborate and work with Technical Lead / SMEs to clarify technical issues and share workloadsPresent solution to the partners and coordinate development tasks with team membersWork with PM for scope management, deliver execution plans & monitor the execution with good quality, cost effectiveness, customer acceptance and customer satisfactionWork with Global Programme Managers and PM for WBS developmentDevelop quality process and ensure strict adherenceWork closely & guide the proposal team for support on estimation and proposal deliveryEnsure project implementation follows the procedure of SSB standard.Promote project cost reduction through continuous process improvement, by applying and maximizing reusable engineering standards in project deliveryDrive business growth & strengthen foot print of GEBS as technology CoEWork for the optimization of procurement processes and identify process improvement opportunitiesSupport in AOP planningEnsure that all audits (internal/external) are adequately documented and significant risk are dealt in a timely mannerEngage with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for increased engagement, seek feedback on deliverables and to improve overall engagementEnsures deliverables provided by the GEBS are delivered within exceptional good quality on time and on budget with high levels of Internal Customer Satisfaction.Manage utilization of all resources and ensure accurate capacity planning.Responsible to manage resources appropriately and to assign right skills to the work.Job Related Competencies:Good understanding on AutoCAD, ACAD-Electrical / ePlan / CEWS / CREO / RA Advisor.Good understanding on DOL, S/D, VFDs, Soft-Starters, Servo, PLC, MCC & Safety System Designing.Good Knowledge of Product Selections and their applications.Good understanding of design calculations like Heat, Load, cable sizing, Cable Duct etc.Good understanding of mechanical design of different types of enclosures (GA/Layout design).Good understanding of developing a control circuit based on the process and application requirements.Must be aware of electrical design standards e.g. IEC, JIC/NEMA, UL, ATEX, CE codes etc.High level of expertise in RA products/Hardware such as Control Logix, VFDs etc.Good understanding of Server Client architecture.Experience with at least one third-party PLC systems migration.Knowledge of IT software platforms, prior hands-on experience with migrations, awareness of latest updates on upcoming automation technologies (Cloud solutions, IIoT) would be an added advantage eitherConduct research into systems issues and productsRecord of managing multiple and complex customer projects and a good understanding about Project Management.Major Commissioning Know-How experience and troubleshooting methods.Is flexible / responsive to manage global needs & expectations about GEBS engineering deliveriesManage team performance to develop team capability and motivate the team.
