DescriptionManaging Director - Oil and Gas will be responsible for managing the bank’s strategic relationships and financing activities with clients in the U.S. oil and gas sector. This includes all sectors of the industry: upstream, midstream, and downstream. The role involves delivering tailored financial solutions, overseeing origination and execution of complex transactions, and driving revenue growth through relationship management and strategic advisory.Key Responsibilities:1. StrategyMonitor market developments, policy changes, and energy transition trends to identify risks and opportunities.Represent Huntington at industry-related events.2. Client Relationship Management and Business Development Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate, specialty, and government sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored banking solutions. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve business growthBuild, develop, and manage senior-level relationships with oil and gas clientsServe as a trusted advisor, providing strategic financial and industry insights.Lead client coverage teams to deliver integrated banking solutions including lending, capital markets, cash management, and derivatives.Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as credit, operations, compliance, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of banking services. Foster strong working relationships to streamline processes, resolve issues, and optimize overall operational efficiency.Performs other duties as assigned.3. Risk Management and ComplianceEnsure transactions comply with regulatory, environmental, and internal risk standards. Maintain sound credit judgment and oversight of portfolio risk.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree7 years industry specific experience in a sales rolePreferred Qualifications:7 or more years Energy Oil and Gas sales experienceUpstream Oil and Gas experienceExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)YesWorkplace Type:OfficeOur Approach to Office Workplace TypeCertain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
