The Engineering Technologist II applies technical expertise to solve more complex problems and management skills to provide oversight and direction of work in a specific area of expertise, with general supervision.  Employees in the Engineering Technologist II position are expected to develop deeper technical skills and the ability to work with an increasing degree of independence.Additional Preferred QualificationsGood written and oral communication skills.Experience in the utility industry.Understanding of basic principles of project management.Working ConditionsSome business units may require visits to field sites and/or plantsSpecific RequirementsDemonstrated ability to work with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.Good written and oral communication skills.Either Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology with no experience, or 2+ years of experience with Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or 4+ years of equivalent experience without a degreeDirect experience within electric distribution.
