Job DescriptionFinance Sr Manager BP&A Global Functions This is a critical finance leadership role partnering with Technology & Digital Services (TDS) and Cybersecurity and Digital Risk Management (CDR) senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making, financial planning, and performance management. The role serves as a trusted advisor, delivering actionable insights that enable balanced investment decisions and execution against global priorities.The position works collaboratively across Business Unit Finance teams, regional finance organizations, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and value realization.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the lead finance business partner to TDS/CDR, supporting global functional leaders in planning, forecasting, and managing operating and capital budgetsProvide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making and long-term planningLead the development and delivery of key financial processes, including:Annual Strategic Review (ASR)Annual BudgetForecasts and ProjectionsCapital expenditure planningPrepare presentations and ad-hoc analysis in support of the TDS/CDR leadership teamCollaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Procurement, Legal, Tax) to shape financial considerations, mitigate risk, and optimize outcomes for complex enterprise initiativesDrive end-to-end financial planning and analysis for the global function, including tracking and reporting of strategic initiatives, investments, and special projectsDevelop/support business cases and financial justifications to support investment decisions and strategic initiativesOversee and enhance financial models and analytical tools to support functional leadership, cost center owners, and regional finance teamsMonitor and report key performance metrics, including headcount, vendor spend, and regional financial performancePartner with regional finance teams and COE analysts to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment in financial reporting and planningSupport M&A activities, including financial evaluation and tracking of integration/separation related investmentsDrive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and tools to enhance efficiency and decision supportLead through influence, coaching and mentoring finance analysts and cross-functional partners to build capabilities, elevate financial acumen, and embed best practices across the organizationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field requiredMinimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, or auditProven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a global, matrixed organizationStrong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasetsAdvanced proficiency in Excel, with working knowledge of SAP, BPC, or similar financial systemsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insightsDemonstrated ability to lead and develop teams and foster cross-functional collaborationHighly proactive, self-driven, and focused on continuous improvementAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detailCPA and/or MBA preferredAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
