Job DescriptionThe Technical Product Owner for Compliance is responsible for defining, refining, and driving the delivery of software solutions that align with customer needs, business objectives and regulatory needs. This role will specifically focus on Authentication and Single sign on, but will support and work on other compliance service also. This role bridges business strategy and engineering execution by translating requirements into actionable development work and ensuring high-quality product delivery. Within the Compliance function there will be a range of service and capabilities being focused on including but not limited to: Authentication, E-Signature, Authorization, Audit trail, DTC, TLS certification and Licensing services. This role will also support the compliance needs of services being delivered by other Core Hub groups.Key Responsibilities:Product Definition & RequirementsDefine and refine product requirements aligned with business and customer needsTranslate high-level strategy into Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteriaAct as the primary interface between stakeholders and development teamsBacklog Ownership & PrioritizationOwn and prioritize the product backlogConduct regular backlog grooming to ensure clarity and alignmentEstablish and maintain story priorities based on business valueTechnical & Delivery ExecutionProvide detailed acceptance criteria to guide development and QASupport sprint planning, execution, and delivery trackingEnsure successful implementation of features and overall product qualityFacilitate resolution of technical questions and dependenciesStakeholder & Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with:Product ManagementCompliance SMEEngineering / R&D teamsSales, field teams, and application engineersAlign product deliverables with broader platform or portfolio strategyCustomer & Domain AdvocacyAct as a user proxy, representing customer workflows and needsEnsure features meet real-world use cases and are “fit for purpose”Ensure Compliance features are enable from the startContinuous ImprovementIdentify gaps in product capabilities and propose enhancementsParticipate in testing and validation (e.g., fit-for-use testing)Drive continuous improvement of agile processes and deliveryTraining:May develop and deliver technical training to the Agilent technical support teams, such as Field Service and Remote Support Engineers.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required.Relevant post-graduate qualifications, certifications, or professional licenses may be required.Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience.Hands-on experience with modern technologies and AI tools, such as GitHub and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) within a GMP-regulated environment.Additional DetailsThis job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
