Job DescriptionThe Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, E-invoicing and compliance with company policies. This role involves supervising a team, improving processes, and maintaining financial controls.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesTeam ManagementSupervise and guide the AP team in daily operationsAllocate tasks and monitor workload distributionTrain, mentor, and evaluate team performanceEnsure adherence to company policies and deadlinesIdentify training needs and support skill developmentInvoice ProcessingEnsure timely processing of vendor invoices in compliance with agreed SLAsReview and manage vendor reconciliations, statement matching, and resolution of discrepanciesOversee AP aging, follow-up on blocked invoices, and minimize overdue liabilitiesManaging E-invoice processCompliance & ControlsEnsure compliance with internal controls and audit requirementsMaintain proper documentation and audit trailsEnsure adherence to tax regulations (GST/TDS, etc.)Support statutory and internal auditsProcess ImprovementIdentify opportunities to streamline AP processesImplement automation/tools for efficiencyDrive continuous improvement initiativesSupport transition activities, SOP documentation, and standardization initiativesParticipate in global P2P transformation and continuous improvement projectsVendor enrollment on E-invoiceQualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field, MCom, MBA FinanceExperience6–9 years of experience in Accounts Payable or FinanceMinimum 2–3 years in a supervisory/lead roleExperience in shared services or MNC environment preferredTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of AP processes and accounting principlesHands-on experience with SAP ERP systemProficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)Additional DetailsThis job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
