Industrial Maintenance Utility Technician (Entry Level)

Role Specific InformationJob DescriptionAbout the RoleShifts:Monday-Thursday 2pm-12amMonday-Thursday 10pm-8am As a Utility Technician, you will promote workplace efficiency and profitability by assisting with the maintenance, inspection and repair of facility, equipment and machinery.What You’ll DoMaintain and repair equipment and machineryMonitor equipment and machinery,  stocking, changing and filling as neededComplete daily cleaning checklist for all equipment and machineryPerform diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment and machineryMonitor baler status and create bales, as neededAssist with clearing jams on conveyor lines with use of power equipmentOperate power equipment to unload, move and load product and balesOperate and maintain battery changer and water for batteriesRemove trash and recycling materialsPaint, change light bulbs and work on the processing floor, as neededFill part requests for Maintenance TechniciansAssist on repairs, preventative maintenance and completion of minor projectsReplace rollers and clean labels in all areas including but not limited to P&A machines, guide rails and floorsWhat Skills You HaveRequiredBasic mechanical aptitudeEssential FunctionsThe requirements listed below are representative of functions you will be required to perform, however you may be required to perform additional functions.
