The role blends product strategy, technical depth, and hands-on execution to define capabilities that meet business needs and support scalable, modern eCommerce experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to define requirements, manage the product backlog, and deliver features that provide measurable value to customers and internal stakeholders. You will also drive alignment across business groups and IT teams on process design, architectural direction, and solution delivery for key programs.Responsibilities:Strategic Alignment: Translate company and customer goals into product direction. Serve as the connection between business leaders, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure alignment with the product vision and overall business strategy.Product Vision & Roadmap: Own the product roadmap and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with business goals and technical strategy. Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and partner with business leaders to confirm the roadmap supports required business outcomes.Prioritization & Execution: Prioritize work based on business value and urgency, make trade-off decisions, and define clear objectives and success metrics. Use Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to guide prioritization and break work into actionable steps for discovery, design, development, and delivery.Voice of the Customer: Represent customer and stakeholder needs by gaining a deep understanding of workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes. Provide clear direction to IT teams and serve as a trusted partner throughout the product lifecycle.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage dependencies across teams and ensure timely, transparent communication. Tailor messaging for different audiences and support a culture of continuous improvement.Product Delivery & Validation: Lead delivery activities and ensure the team understands the product vision. Guide backlog refinement, planning sessions, and validation of completed work to confirm it meets quality and business expectations.Change Management & Enablement: Develop and execute change management and enablement plans to support new system implementations and process improvements.Domain Expertise: Build deep knowledge of eCommerce capabilities, systems, and processes to guide decision making and deliver best-in-class solutions.Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Technology, or related field (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) years of experience as a Product Owner or in Product Management in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Strong domain knowledge of eCommerce capabilities and processesExperience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) preferredUnderstanding of digital commerce platforms, APIs, and enterprise integrationsProficiency with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira)Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery modelsStrong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skillsExperience with large-scale enterprise integration projectsProduct Owner/Product Management certification (CSPO or SAFe PO/PM) preferredWork location: On site in Maplewood Travel: May include up to 10% domestic and international Relocation Assistance: Is AuthorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
