Make a meaningful difference supporting patients with rare and complex conditions. In this role, you will be part of the Accredo Rare Disease team, helping ensure patients receive the medications they need on time while delivering a high level of care, accuracy, and professionalism.Position OverviewAs a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a primary point of contact for patients and members, handling a high volume of inbound calls. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy. You will play a key role in coordinating medication deliveries and providing timely, accurate information to support patient needs.This is a fully remote position. Candidates must have reliable internet, a distraction-free workspace, and the ability to work independently without dependent care responsibilities during scheduled work hours.Training and Schedule ExpectationsStart date is July 27Required 12-week training period with no absencesTraining schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CSTAfter training: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM CSTLocation RequirementCandidates must reside within 50 miles of one of the following locations: Memphis, TN; Tempe, AZ; Warrendale, PA; or Whitestown, IN.ResponsibilitiesManage approximately 75–100 inbound calls per day, assisting patients and members with professionalism and careCoordinate and schedule medication shipments to ensure timely deliveryProvide updates on order status and answer questions clearly and accuratelySupport payment collection or co-pay assistance when applicableTransfer calls to appropriate departments when specialized support is neededUse sound judgment to resolve customer concerns and de-escalate challenging situationsMaintain accuracy and efficiency while meeting performance and quality expectationsAdapt to changing processes, systems, and patient needs in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsRequiredAt least 6 months of customer service experienceHigh school diploma or equivalencyStrong verbal communication skills and ability to explain information clearlyDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call environmentReliable internet access and a distraction-free home workspaceAbility to attend and complete full training without absencesPreferredExperience in a remote call center environmentExperience in healthcare, pharmacy, or benefits-related rolesCore CompetenciesAction oriented with a strong sense of accountabilityEffective de-escalation skills and ability to handle sensitive conversationsStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsSituational adaptability in a dynamic environmentResilience and ability to manage high call volumesClear, professional communication styleBenefits and Growth OpportunitiesWe are committed to supporting your well-being and professional growth.
