The working title for the assignment is Clinical Support Specialist with an official title of Administrative Assistant III. This is an expected-to-continue assignment that requires a six-month probationary period. The expected hourly rate for this position will be $24.00 or approximately $50,000 per year.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated experience providing administrative or program support in a professional office environment.Experience managing databases, spreadsheets, or information systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Experience coordinating processes that involve multiple stakeholders and maintaining organized documentation and records.Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience working in higher education, healthcare, or another regulated environment.Experience supporting clinical education programs, clinical placements, or partnerships with external agencies.Experience managing compliance documentation, credentialing, or background check processes.Experience working with data management systems or platforms (e.g., Typhon, SharePoint, Perceptive Content, Canvas, and other university-supported systems).Experience coordinating or administering agreements, contracts, or documentation with external partners.Experience maintaining complex spreadsheets, reports, or tracking systems used for operational or compliance purposes.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailDUTIES: The College of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational support for clinical education activities across undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. This position supports clinical placement processes, affiliation agreement administration, student and faculty documentation, data management, and communications with healthcare partners to help ensure students, faculty, and programs meet clinical, regulatory, and university requirements.Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, healthcare partners, and university stakeholders, the Clinical Support Specialist serves as a key member of the clinical education support team and contributes to the delivery of high-quality nursing education and student success.A successful candidate will:Thrive in a highly collaborative environment while effectively managing responsibilities independently.Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail when coordinating complex processes and maintaining records.Communicate professionally and build positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and healthcare partners.Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.Learn and effectively utilize a variety of technology systems and databases that support clinical education operations.Support student success through reliable, responsive, and mission-focused administrative service.Exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.ABOUT US:CollegeThe College of Nursing advances the discipline through excellence in education, research, practice, and service.
