Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCollects lab samples, performs venipunctures, and conducts ECGs to support diagnostic proceduresTakes and records vital signs, prepares patients for exams, and facilitates clinical procedures to ensure quality patient careMaintains accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and healthcare regulationsSupports reception and check-out areas by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and updating patient recordsEnsures student immunization compliance by reviewing medical documentation and updating records accordinglyContributes to a collaborative healthcare environment by coordinating with medical staff and optimizing operational efficiencyOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesKnowledge of clinical procedures such as venipunctures, ECGs, and vital sign measurementsKnowledge of medical recordkeeping practices, confidentiality regulations, and healthcare documentationSkill in collecting lab samples, performing diagnostic procedures, and preparing patients for examsSkill in managing reception tasks, scheduling appointments, and verifying patient insurance informationAbility to maintain compliance with student immunization requirements and update records accordinglyAbility to collaborate effectively with healthcare staff to enhance patient care and operational efficiencyMinimum Education & ExperienceDiploma/Certificate in Medical Assisting1 year of relevant experienceJob Level OverviewOperations, Administrative, Service, or Technical Support Level 2 - An intermediate level role with working foundational knowledge and skills to perform routine and occasionally non-routine tasks. Tasks may require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. May provide assistance to entry level staff.
