Work Flexibility: OnsiteSchedule: Mon - Fri: 1:45pm - 10:15pm, OT RequiredWhat You Will Do:As an Advanced Welder at Stryker, you will support the production of precision components used in life-saving medical technologies. This role combines advanced manual welding, machining support, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality output in a regulated manufacturing environment.Perform manual MIG and TIG welding to manufacture parts to specificationOperate and support fabrication equipment, including robotic welding (Level 2) and CNC processesSet up and run production while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standardsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to produce and repair partsConduct inspections using calipers, angle gauges, micrometers, and other measuring toolsTroubleshoot equipment, process issues, and part defects to minimize downtimePerform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and minor equipment repairsEnsure compliance with Stryker Quality Systems (QSR/ISO), policies, and production goalsMaintain accurate documentation and record-keeping in line with company standardsSupport and lead continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activitiesPromote a positive team environment, accountability, and adherence to 6S standardsWhat You Need:RequiredMinimum of two (2) years of welding, machining, or fabrication experience in a manufacturing environmentHands on experience with MIG and TIG weldingAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsPreferredQuality training, including visual inspection of welds, incoming part quality, gage plan completionAbility to use height stand, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring system, and other inspection equipment to inspect work piecesPhysical RequirementsAbility to frequently lift 10-50 lbs, occasionally lifting up to 75 lbsAbility to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive movementsStrong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination   $30.25/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium, plus bonus potential and benefits.   Travel Percentage: NoneStryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
