Primary responsibilities will include teaching the equivalent of eight courses per year (four per semester) and service on departmental committees.The department also has curricular needs in philosophy of science, ethics, philosophy of law, and political philosophy. The candidate may also be asked to teach courses in our Core Humanities program, if there is a reasonable fit.Required QualificationsPh.D. in Philosophy or related field.Completion of a doctoral degree in the appropriate discipline is required.The doctoral degree must have been completed within the five years immediately preceding the first date of appointment as a postdoctoral fellow at the University.The individual cannot have held previous positions in the professional ranks.Compensation GradePostdoctoral ScholarTo view the salary schedule for this position, please visit: Salary Schedules.
