We are hiring Expediters to work at 1275 York Ave.Role Overview:Passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering outstanding communication at all times.You will perform a variety of functions to ensure wonderful service to all patients, staff, and visitors in the hospital.Key Qualifications:Review patient meal ticket for all vital information (i.e., name, room number, diet order, time of order); ensures that corrective action is taken (e.g., contacting Diet Office) if information is incorrect or missingSet up patient tray neatly, according to guidelines, to include hot and cold food items and all other vital items (e.g., silverware, china, beverage, condiments, etc.); places appropriate covers for each dish and beverageCheck assembled tray for accuracy and completeness prior to loading onto tray delivery cartLoad hot and cold tray delivery cart onto cargo master and dispatches to unit as specified on tray ticketEnsure trays prepped and appropriately dispatched according to time printed on ticketAdvise room service associate on unit, via Nextel radio, that a cart has been sent to that unitSupervises inventory of supplies (e.g., silverware, napkins, china, condiments, beverages, etc.) before and after each meal servicePreparation of cold food items as neededCompletes Storeroom Requisition Form as needed and submits to supervisor for approval to maintain par levelsCore Skills:Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructionsExperience working in hospitality: hotels, restaurants, and food & beverage or similar field.Hours:Flexible hours including nights, weekends & holidays.37.5 hours per weekReport to Chef de Cuisine, RetailHelpful links: Compensation PhilosophyBenefits  Pay Range: $22.87 - $29.38  FSLA Status: Non-Exempt  Closing: At MSK, we believe in fair, competitive pay that reflects your job, experience, and skills.MSK is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer committed to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting and employment.
