As a diversified, national organization, you’ll have access to competitive benefits including a fresh perspective on workplace flexibility. Position Purpose: Ensure accurate and timely posting of receivables to appropriate accounts.Process and monitor accounts receivableSet up new accounts, verify accuracy of invoices, identify missing information and adjust for returnsPrepare payment schedules and reconciliations as neededApply payments to appropriate Patient, Private/Group Health, Employer/Contract and Worker’s Compensation accountsIdentify and report short paysMonitor unapplied payments for missing Explanation of Benefits received from Insurance companyVerify payments and match outstanding balancesIdentify and follow appropriate protocol to correct incorrect paymentsKnowledge/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of accounting or finance experience. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.Pay Range: $15.87 - $27.25 per hourCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
