The team spans across the organization and consists of more than 290 mental health and addiction providers dedicated to the highest quality patient care. The service line is provider led in tandem with operational leaders.Job Description:Principle ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care on an inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit to a diverse populationDevelops behaviorally-focused, outcomes-based treatment plans that address mental health, functional impairment, and co-occurring addictive or medical disordersConsults with providers to assist with ongoing management of the behavioral health needs of their patients.Required QualificationsDoctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicineCompletion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training Licenses/CertificationsMD, DO, or foreign equivalency training requiredBE/BC with completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency trainingCompletion of geriatric psychiatry fellowship preferredActive, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicableBLS/ACLS required within 180 days of hire Physical DemandsLifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequentlyPay RangePay Range: $340,025 to $351,000 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE.
