Job Description SummaryAs a member of the Aviation Component Service Center (ACSC) Quality Team, you will partner across disciplines to drive continuous improvement and problem solving in our Combustors & Structures business. This role offers exposure to a variety of aviation repair special processes across multiple engine lines and product types.Job DescriptionRole Overview: New Product Introduction (NPI) and Management of Change facilitationEngineering Doc Review & Approval (RSS, AC205, Routers, Planning, Data Sheets, NPI)Obtain and toll gate new Repair Documents and Engine Service Manual / ATA subscriptionsOperations LeaderProvide timely resolution to cert questionsReferee Engine Manual, Quality Control Work Instructions (QCWI) and SOP interpretationFacilitate quality event investigation and problem solving initiatives for a portion of the Combustors/Structures businessIdentify and develop standard work and execute on Kaizens to improve processesCollaborate with technical team to drive sustained process improvementUtilize FLIGHT DECK tools to drive process improvements and make real changeSustainment of Regulatory ComplianceTimely execution of audits such as Workstation Audits and Non-Conforming Material AuditsSelection and implementation of impactful surveillance on specific, targeted areas/themesStrategic ResponsibilitiesData mining, analysis and communication that expedites quality event and risk reduction effortsPrepare content for strategic quality reviews/dialogues (Example: Weekly Rotating Quality Review)Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 3+ years of experience in a technical/manufacturing role (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of experience in a technical/manufacturing role).Preferred Qualifications:Strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
