City/StateVirginia Beach, VAWork ShiftFirst (Days)Overview:Executive Assistant II to the President, Acute CareSentara Health is seeking a proactive and experienced Executive Assistant II to support the President of Acute Care. This is a critical role for a trusted partner who thrives in a fast-paced, executive environment and brings a high level of professionalism, discretion, and organizational excellence.Position SummaryThe Executive Assistant II will optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the President by managing complex administrative and strategic support functions. This individual serves as a key liaison, ensuring seamless communication, prioritization, and execution of priorities across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholdersManage complex calendars, meetings, and travel arrangementsCoordinate and prepare for executive meetings, including materials and follow-upsHandle correspondence, calls, and sensitive communications with professionalism and discretionControl access to the executive and prioritize competing demandsSupport and participate in key projects and initiativesAnticipate needs and proactively address challenges to maximize executive effectivenessQualificationsMinimum of 3+ years supporting executive-level leaders (C-suite or senior leadership preferred)High school diplomaExceptional organizational, communication, and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and urgencyHigh level of discretion handling confidential informationStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office and calendar management toolsDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environmentWhy SentaraAt Sentara Health, you’ll be part of a mission-driven organization committed to improving health every day.
