Our mission is to promote healing, stability, and independence in a safe and therapeutic environment while serving the people of Nebraska with compassion and excellence.The Human Services Treatment Specialist Supervisor plays a vital role in promoting active treatment, fostering independence, and ensuring individuals receive quality, individualized support services.What We Offer:• 156% state-matched retirement contribution• 13 paid holidays• Generous leave benefits• Tuition reimbursement• Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)• 79% employer-paid health insurance• Dental and vision coverage• Employer-paid $20,000 life insurance• Career growth opportunitiesSchedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pmWage: $24.524 plus $3 Facility Differential As a Human Services Treatment Specialist Supervisor, you will:Provide administrative oversight for operations related to Treatment Plan Reviews, Special Treatment Plan Review meetings, Morning Report, daily safety statuses, and coordination of communication between direct care, nursing, and clinical staff to ensure compliance with CMS certification standards, The Joint Commission accreditation requirements, and Public Health licensing regulations.Supervise Human Services Treatment Specialists (HSTS) and Program Office Specialists, overseeing staffing, workflow coordination, and operational support for a total of six to eight (6-8) FTE positions.Manage and coordinates treatment planning meetings for up to 246 court-ordered patients participating in multiple treatment programs.Coordinate and assign treatment programming based on multidisciplinary treatment team recommendations, psychiatric evaluations, and clinical assessments.Oversee communication and coordination between clinical staff and HSTS team for discharge planning activities to ensure completion of required documentation, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and clinical notes.Audit treatment planning processes to ensure timely completion of required treatment activities, compliance with treatment standards, and delivery of appropriate patient interventions.Provide training and guidance to staff and multidisciplinary teams regarding treatment planning processes, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.Coordinate treatment audits, monitor patient ward activities, oversee entry and tracking of planned discharge dates, and conduct quality improvement audits across four buildings.Utilize multiple communication methods to coordinate and communicate patient legal statuses, safety statuses, restrictions, treatment updates, and changes in patient care.Maintain operational oversight of treatment planning activities to support patient care coordination, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.Assist in developing and maintaining procedures related to treatment planning operations, documentation standards, and departmental workflow processes. Requirements / Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a human services field such as psychology, sociology, special education, counseling, human development, education or speech communication AND experience working with, and applying treatment and habilitation programs for persons with intellectual or other developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or developmental disabilities, including developing or implementing treatment plans, behavior support plans, or individualized service plans.Experience utilizing electronic health records, databases, Microsoft Office applications, and other computer-based systems to maintain documentation, track progress, and support treatment planning.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, including interpreting and applying policies and procedures, training or coaching others, and using strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of psychiatric and behavioral health treatment planning, interdisciplinary coordination, and documentation standards, as well as administrative processes including data entry, records management, and database systems. CMS certification requirements, The Joint Commission standards, Public Health licensing requirements and HIPAA standards.Ability to supervise, assign, and evaluate staff work; coordinate multidisciplinary treatment planning; and support the development, implementation, and modification of active treatment plans. Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulations; resolve conflicts; conduct problem-solving and investigations; and advocate for individuals served.
