Position Title: Temporary Burris High School Girls Soccer CoachCompensation: $500.00 - $3500.00 stipendDepartment: Burris Laboratory School - Temp AStart Date: 07/01/2026About this opportunity: Burris Laboratory School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Temporary Head Coach for our High School Girls Soccer program. This position will be responsible for leading, developing, and mentoring student-athletes both on and off the field while fostering a positive, competitive, and team-oriented environment.Qualifying candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position Description:This position will be responsible for leading, developing, and mentoring student-athletes both on and off the field while fostering a positive, competitive, and team-oriented environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and conduct effective daily practices and game strategiesDevelop student-athletes' technical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanshipSupervise assistant coaches and coordinate program activitiesEnsure compliance with school, district, and state athletic regulationsCommunicate effectively with players, parents, staff, and administrationPromote academic success and personal growth among athletesManage equipment, uniforms, and program logisticsSchedule Expectations:Practices are held Monday through Friday after 3:00 pmGame Schedule may include Saturday games and occasional additional eventsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrior coaching experience (high school or higher preferred)Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, strategy, and player developmentExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to motivate and mentor high school student-athletesCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Must meet all district and state coaching certification requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Previous head coaching experienceExperience working within a school or youth athletic programHow to apply: For Inquiries, please contact:Athletic Director, Mack Rathbun: mack.rathbun@bsu.eduIMPORTANT: To ensure accurate processing of your application, do not rely on a resume upload to populate the job experience section.
