A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Grade: Professional 307Pay Range: $66,300.00 - $99,500.00Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Sourcing Specialist and play a key role in driving efficient, high-quality procurement operations. In this role, you will support sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, and help ensure the organization secures the best value for goods and services. You will build your expertise while contributing to increasingly complex purchasing initiatives that directly impact business performance. What You’ll DoEvaluate supplier capabilities, including risk and quality assessmentsManage the bidding process, including inviting and receiving supplier bidsAnalyze pricing, products, discounts, and delivery terms to support sourcing decisionsCommunicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers to gather market insights and product informationResolve purchase order, billing, and payment issues in partnership with internal stakeholdersMaintain accurate records of contracts, orders, and supplier performancePartner with finance, legal, and cross-functional teams to support contract negotiation and implementationWhat You’ll BringBachelor's degree2 years of procurement, supply chain, or business experienceBasic knowledge of purchasing principles, ethics, and standardsUnderstanding of purchase orders versus contracts and when to apply eachFamiliarity with competitive bidding processes and procurement workflowsFoundational knowledge of contract terms, pricing structures, and cost analysisStrong organizational and negotiation skills with the ability to support supplier discussionsEffective decision-making skills and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office toolsBonus PointsExperience supporting contract negotiations or supplier managementExposure to forecasting or trend analysis in a procurement environmentFamiliarity with market analysis and pricing benchmarkingExperience in Lieu of EducationEquivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this role may substitute for education requirements.
