Tasks may include arranging and describing collections in alignment with Division and professional standards, conducting research for collection guides and other public-facing resources, creating collection inventories, and supporting preservation and rehousing activities. The Graduate Assistant may also participate in activities to support digital preservation and/or access. Although the bulk of the graduate assistant's time will be dedicated to supporting the University Archives, the graduate assistant will work collaboratively across the Special Collections Division to make collections available for research, and may have the opportunity to participate in other projects that allow for exploring areas of personal interest that contribute to professional development.
