Ready to be a Titan?ServiceTitan's Finance Business Technology (Finance BT) team is looking for a Workday Engineer, Financials to join our Bangalore office as a dedicated production support partner for our Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), Tax, and Treasury stakeholders. This role is the front-line system owner for day-to-day BAU operations across corporate finance, ensuring that procurement workflows, general ledger activities, tax compliance systems, and treasury operations run smoothly.You will work closely with the US-based Finance BT team while interfacing directly with AP/Procurement, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury leadership. This is a versatile, cross-functional role well-suited for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of operational health, and is motivated by making complex finance processes more reliable and efficient.What you'll doBAU Production Support: Serve as the first point of contact for system-related requests from P2P, R2R, Tax, and Treasury stakeholders; triage, prioritize, and resolve Jira tickets within SLAClose Support: Partner with Accounting and Finance teams during month-end and quarter-end close cycles; support GL reconciliation workflows, journal entry processing in Workday, financial period management, and inter-company activitiesSecurity and Access Management: Execute access provisioning and de-provisioning in Workday Financials for P2P, R2R, Tax, and Treasury users; enforce Segregation of Duties (SOD) policies and maintain accurate access rostersReport Requests: Build, maintain, and deliver ad hoc and recurring reports from Workday and related Finance systems to support AP/procurement tracking, GL analysis, tax reporting, and cash and treasury operationsIncident Management: Document, track, and escalate system issues; partner with the US-based Finance BT team to drive resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive follow-upProcess Documentation: Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and user guides for recurring production support workflowsStakeholder Communication: Communicate proactively with finance stakeholders on ticket status, expected resolution timelines, and system or process changesManaging Workday major releases, identifying impacts and enhancement opportunities associated with new releases, and communicating changes appropriatelyProviding support for functional and technical implementations in Workday, including working with cloud-based technologies, performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and participating in the systems development life cycle (SDLC)What you'll bring3 to 5 years of experience in a finance systems, ERP support, or business technology analyst roleHands-on experience with Workday Financials, specifically in Procurement, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Banking and Settlement, or related modulesWorking knowledge of Workday security roles, business process framework, and domain-based security configurationExperience triaging and managing support tickets in Jira, ServiceNow, or a comparable ITSM platformSolid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) business processes; working familiarity with Tax or Treasury workflows is a plusExperience in all phases of the technology implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and go-live supportWell-versed in Calculated Fields, condition rules, custom validation rules, custom alerts, business process notifications, tenant setup configuration, and Custom Organizations/custom worktag setupAbility to independently investigate data discrepancies, trace transaction flows, and clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiencesExcellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with US-based stakeholders asynchronously and in real-time video callsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related fieldNice to HaveWorkday certification in Financial related modulesExposure to tax compliance or automation platforms such as Avalara or VertexFamiliarity with treasury management systems or bank reconciliation toolingFamiliarity with SQL or analytics and BI tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, or similarPrior experience supporting finance operations in a SaaS or high-growth technology companyExperience with AP automation tools or procure-to-pay workflow optimizationBe Human With Us: Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list.
