This role involves collaborating with Medical and Commercial leadership, supporting field medical strategy, and developing field resources as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesGuides the REL team in developing strategies and plans that facilitate long term, highly productive and collaborative relationships with Thought Leaders and Healthcare Providers. Mentors and leads others in terms of their own field team and impacts other field teams members’ effectivenessUses their extensive therapeutic knowledge to design and implement innovative field medical strategies in collaboration with matrix partners that have a broad and long-lasting impact on the market.Regularly contributes to the organizational medical strategy and is an important decision maker regarding the overall organizational medical strategy and tactics, reflecting a deep understanding of the marketplaceRoutinely seeks to support the matrix partners and stakeholders to provide direction that advance the impact and strategic direction for the therapeutic area. Serves as a trusted scientific resource within the healthcare community and among the REL teamTeam leader and compliance ambassador that serves as a point of clarity to others based on compliant field excellence and experience. Relied upon to drive change or implement new policies/expectationsServes as a team guide and champion and demonstrates mastery in collaboration and teamworkQualifications & ExperienceGraduate of an accredited ultrasound program (echocardiography required); bachelor’s degree preferredActive cardiac ultrasound registry (RDCS or RCS required)Minimum of 5 years of adult echocardiography experiencePrevious experience in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)Viewed as an expert for scientific and non-scientific communications that effectively engage important audiences. Uses their high EQ, and is sought out for opinion on complex matters where strategic communication skills and approaches are neededApproaches new and existing opportunities and challenges with innovation and creativityChampions individual, team and organizational goal achievement clearly recognized by others in leadership positions. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
