As a Research Data Scientist, you will utilize statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling techniques to analyze complex datasets and develop algorithms that support research initiatives. In this role, you will apply programming skills using tools such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB, or similar languages to perform data analytics, generate insights, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.A caregiver in this role works remotely from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.To be considered for this position, caregivers must reside in Ohio, Florida, or Nevada.A caregiver who excels in this role will: Utilize basic statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling techniques to build algorithms and perform data analytics.Utilize programming skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.Perform basic data analysis including data validation, investigation, and hypothesis testing.Assist Principal Investigator in transforming data to support research questions and develop basic predictive and statistical models using modeling tools.Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency in data extraction, reporting, programming, and operations.Curate and process complex clinical and biological data sets.Communicate and present research findings as needed.Identify technical issues and manage resolution for analytics programs.Interpret research protocols and translate them into analytical requirements.Run statistical analyses and support machine learning model development.Generate charts, graphs, and other data visualizations.Assist with manuscript preparation and publication support.Other duties as assigned.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field and two years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learningOR Master’s or PhD degreeProficiency with programing skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB or similarPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Experience in ML (Machine Learning) – AI (ArtificialIntelligence)EHR clinical data experienceStatistical modeling experienceExperience working with healthcare research dataExperience building machine learning modelsExperience using modern AI toolsExperience with managing end-to-end data workflows Physical Requirements:Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periodsAbility to operate a computer and other office equipmentAbility to communicate and exchange accurate informationIn some locations, ability to move up to 15 poundsPersonal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment.
