The Radiologic Technology Program Director and Instructor has responsibilities for the day-to-day oversight of the program operations. The faculty member’s teaching assignment is reduced by annual agreement to dedicate time to program director duties. Northland’s Radiographic Technology program is an accredited member of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and complies with all JRCERT guidelines and requirements.Minimum QualificationsEducation RequirementMaster's degree per JRCERT accreditation.Occupational Experience RequirementTwo full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered technologist.Recency RequirementOne year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.Professional RequirementCertified as a Registered Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Preferred Qualification Have a minimum of two years' teaching experienceCoursework in teaching pedagogies and preparation in principles and methods of evaluation.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populationsKnowledge of instructional methods, student assessment, and evaluation practicesOther Requirements** Must submit Resume, Cover Letter, and unofficial transcripts. **Applicants that do not submit the required application materials (Resume, Cover Letter, and Unofficial Transcripts) will not be considered.(upload documents in the Resume/Cover Letter section of the application)In accordance with the Minnesota State’s Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to MinnState’s vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.NOTICE: The college regrets that it is unable to offer H-1B sponsorship.
