Handle all insurance verification as well as pre- and post-appointment activity. Verify & maintain the accuracy of patient records including demographics, insurance, financial & guarantor data. Provide coverage and support as needed for the practice.Checking in/checking out, patient registration, appointment scheduling, and referrals/pre-authorizations.Review appointment book for accuracy & completion of dental procedures including appointment book controls for maintaining productive & efficient patient flow.Respond to routine treatment & billing questions.Reconcile daily cash receipts. Collect co-pays and explain PDFP polices regarding co-pays required at the time of service.Accurately create schedules with the faculty practices meeting targeted daily goals.OPERATIONSFlexibility in scheduling is required for all positionsMaintain patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.Conserves dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results; monitors inventory; maintains proper usage and operations of equipment.Technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing and suppor
